It really isn't as bad as all that.

I managed to pass the ick I briefly had onto others. Mr. Jenner's Grandma was struck down one day with it and then on....Wednesday Miss Biscuit was sick all over me. It was grand. We thought she was over it until I was woken up Thursday morning with her tossing her cookies all over me and the bed. Again we thought she was all right by the evening (allowing her to eat) and she threw up... all over me and the bed. (I had just sat down to dinner when I went to check on her and SHAZAAM) Once things were sorted (and I have done A LOT of laundry the past few days) we decided to keep an extra set of bed clothes near the bed. For extra good measure I kept a rubbish bin by the bed. I am now officially a ninja in that the second I heard Miss Biscuit make a slightly funny noise I had her ready. NO SICK ON ME!!! So yeah. I have been dealing with a lot of vomit. (we aren't letting her eat any solid food for the next twenty four hours -she can nurse though)
In addition to that I woke up this morning to find two pimples on my face; including one that feels like it is three miles deep. You know the kind I am talking about.

Happy Birthday to me indeed.

As a result I am taking a full dose of my anxiety medication instead of the usual half-dose because it is the only way to get through a day like this.

I am keeping my perspective. I keep thinking of the year we flew back and our house had extensive water damage and the big treat was getting hot water and heat on my birthday.

Phew.

On the beach yesterday. It was breezy but felt good.
