today is definitely better

I got some sleep last night. High fives all around.
Then today I went to cookbook club!

This is what we made! We cooked from Diana Kennedy's Essential Cuisines of Mexico. (you can click through to see some more pictures in detail) It was another fun afternoon of eating and talking and eating some more. We ate indoors and outdoors and there were cold things and hot things and adult beverages and lemonade and mexican coca-cola and small babies and well all the good things that come with people who know how to eat and cook well.

Next time we are going to do a picnic. PICNIC!!! Bring your own ants.
