right off the bat

My brain is a wee bit fried from traveling from the other side of the country today. And making a cake, and doing laundry, and getting up to speed on assorted things.
I had a lovely time at the wedding. I have many things to say about it. MANY. Good and snarky. I am glad to be out of the village of the damned. I am now going to sink into a very hot bath, read a cozy book, and THEN???? OH SWEET JESUS, I am going to get into my incredibly comfortable bed and bask in the quiet.
Me and Cornwall? We are lovahs.
