is it wednesday?
Nov. 7th, 2012 10:00 amWhat a night eh? Phew. So tired. So filled with joy and hope and other great things.
My home state has made me proud tonight. Good work Washington, you beautiful people.
In home-related chatter, I have begun to hang pictures on the walls. Of course going through the pictures, I am reminded that I wanted to add a few new things. So I ordered this. I love Miroslav Sasek's illustrations. I recall running across the Sunday bird market in Paris the day Mr. Jenner and I became engaged. We had a long walk around Paris, and I remember seeing all the birds, and fish, and bunnies. And so many bird-related accessories. Who knew there was so much stuff to be had. (Mr. Jenner proposed later that night after a nice meal and a lot of champagne.) Then years later when we were in Paris briefly with the children, we took them to the same bird market. Again taking in the different kinds of birds, fish, and little baby rabbits. (and a stop to have ice cream at Bertillon afterward) I am not quite sure where I will put it yet, but I think it will be a splash of color and amusement.
I do believe I will have another cup of tea.
