Well here we are. New Year and all that good stuff.
I just wish the fog wasn't so... pressing. It makes a person feel claustrophobic and I find myself looking at flights to sunnier climes.
As flights cost money I will just make out with my light box.
Of course we are beholden to the school schedule so it makes traveling complicated. It is impressed upon us that we shouldn't take the kids out of school during term as they will miss "important" things (I have my own opinions about that) and yet I find myself wondering if schools are in league with the holiday industry as that families have to shell out some obscene sum to travel during "peak travel". Feck it. Maybe we will travel during term just to save some pennies.
