Skin Deep Thoughts
Feb. 17th, 2013 10:33 amI thought to myself this morning, "my skin is looking a lot better these days." I don't have a super serious amazing skin regimen with super expensive products (okay maybe one but I can get that pretty cheap) but this is the first winter in years that I am not having a daily battle with dry/flaking/itching skin. As I patiently mentioned to Mr. Jenner, I realized one of the things that has helped, is not living in a house with forced air heating. We have the radiators/central heating but I don't feel like I need to exfoliate twice a day. Right now my skin may also be helped by being able to live out in the country, right next to the ocean because EVERYTHING is moist here. To my friends disgusted/grossed out by the word, moist, well I am sorry. MOIST!!!! Let that word sit with you all day long. MOIST!
Anyhow, back to my skin. If you can afford it, live in a house without forced air and if possible live by the ocean in a place with fairly clean air. And maybe find a good source of Argan oil.
Miss Biscuit has picked up minecraft. (if her brother is doing something, it must be worth doing.) She has just gotten the hang of flying in minecraft (and she also recently built herself a sort of cave home in the side of a mountain.) and she said, "Look I can fly like Kiki." I said to Mr. Jenner, "...like my sister? I didn't know she could fly." He said that she meant like Kiki in Kiki's Delivery Service.... though your sister DOES work for a sort of delivery service." To which I replied, "OMG.. my sister is a witch. I KNEW it."
