What is going on with Midsomer tonight? Well so far, they continue their hatred for estate agents. (with good reason. Estate agents in England are only hired for their sociopathic capabilities.) And there are ghosts and stuff. It is like Scooby-Doo. And speaking of Scooby-Doo, on this episode there are children! They don't appear to be murderers because that is the function of old people.

I was in Bude today, picking up bread, looking for a sun dress, and doing some grocery shopping. (avec Miss Biscuit) I saw signs that the main road into Bude proper will be closed next week for a royal visit. Is it the Queen? God no, the woman has reached a point in life where she says, "What is the biscuit situation like? Because I am not going out if there are supermarket-brand custard creams and weak tea made by a WI that just doesn't care. Do they know who I am???? I am the feckin' Queen that is who."
No, alas North Cornwall gets her son Prince Charles and his wife of the rounded shoulders. (aka The Duchess of Cornwall) I suppose it makes sense that they would show up since they have that whole duchy thing going on. Now in many cases I would show up to see a royal (you have to try and collect all of them, and then send in your card to get a free toaster or something.) because it is interesting to see what narrow genetics can do, and sometimes they wear a neat hat. But Bude is a lot of one way roads, and parking is a bit of a bother even on a good day, so I will have to send my regrets. Besides I saw Camilla just a couple of weeks ago, and really what would I have to say, "You did a nice job sitting in a box. And didn't Delpo have pretty legs?" I understand Prince Charles has great tastes in suits, so it would have been fun to see if this was indeed true. Instead I will likely go jogging, figure out dinner, and pick up Miss Biscuit from school.

With this continued attractive weather, I am doing a lot of laundry. (partly because one sweats) and for the sheer pleasure of hanging out the laundry and have it dry so quickly. I am actually ahead of things for once. But come on, let's take advantage of this weather let's wash all the things and dry it in an environmentally friendly way.
