let advent begin
Dec. 2nd, 2014 12:03 amIt was bright and cold this morning and there was a haze across the fields. It was good running weather, as it wasn't so cold that it hurt to breathe. I had some concerns with my knee the past couple of weeks but I think it should be all right. I just need to stretch things a bit more, and definitely use those resting days. I also needed that bright light this morning.
I had everyone over for Thanksgiving on Sunday. It was the first time everyone has gotten together since the baby was born. (we all got together for Bonfire Night.) So many of us. The clan extends to 15 people. It works out well as the kids are fairly close in age, and they all play well together. Everyone ate loads, I sent people home with leftovers, and plans have been made for a day out with one of my sisters in law, and my mother in law. We will go off to see a bit of civilization, do some shopping, and eat things that aren't pasties.
