May. 9th, 2015 11:03 pmWell the UK took a real kick to the kidneys this week. Time to let go of the disappointment, and channel all that energy into something useful. Maybe make a cake, or visit and help a person in need of a little love.
The bastard snails/slugs got at some of my peas. I know all the things I need to do to combat them. I am attending to it. I haven't gone the super poison route because I like to avoid that sort of thing; as we have a pet, children, and wildlife in the garden. Just one of those bastard things. My kale seedlings are coming on, and the roses are probably going to bloom in the near future. Now to set all my hopes and dreams on the dahlias. "COME ON NOW!" Thankfully I have some cloches to protect them when they come up.
It was a really pretty day out. I went running, and did things in the garden. Mr. Jenner took the kids down to the beach. Miss Biscuit was enthusiastic. Senor Onion objected to being dragged away from minecraft but I was told he had a good time.
