gluttony for beginners

It is Friday, the errands are done and I have acquired some new underwear. I think I am doing fairly well.
I sent off things in the post, I picked up some fruit and cheese, and then I got the new issue of Gastronomica. I am going to lie on the sofa for awhile and read about the art of waxed fruit of the 19th century.
Oh when I picked up some fruit I found much excitement. Champagne mango's have arrived.

These are sweet, juicy and have a beautiful golden color about them. I think it would be fun to make a sorbet out of this stuff sometime. But for now I may eat some slices with some St. Andre triple creme cheese and crackers.
You will find me passed out with joy somewhere near the kitchen. I also have some dark chocolate.
All I need now is a hot Englishman.
