It was a lovely Sunday filled with bright blue skies, the Blue Angels continuing to make the masses twitch and Gennie's experiments in the kitchen.

I made a terrine of Summer Fruits.

I have wanted to make this Summer Fruits Terrine for some time. Awhile back I purchased Delia's Summer Collection and this looked incredibly appetizing and looking over the recipe it looked quite simple to do. Here is the recipe.

I had a couple of friends over to be guinea pigs and they pronounced it quite delicious. I will have to make it again.

This is a cake that I messed with a bit. The recipe originally came from Martha Stewart was a strawberry cake. I have made it a few times and it is a favorite in our house. I had some ripe luscious peaches and some blueberries so I thought I could use the same recipe and it worked rather well.
