afire in the kichen

This weekend I roasted a chicken. With the remains I have made stock, have some schmaltz on hand (which I may use for making matzo balls later on this week) and tonight I am using some of the meat to make a chicken pie.
Last night I made a tian, cooked up a few sausages and also made bread and leek salad.
Yesterday I also made some oatmeal craisin scones.
I am thinking about making ice cream in the next week or so. I am thinking of making mint chip or espresso nutella.
My other excitement is dusting.

I'll pay you back with ... whatever you want really. (yes, even that!) :P
I found this British imports place in City Centre after seeing their ad in the Seattle Weekly and it's crap man.
Way overpriced clotted cream and Devon cream, etc.
Not even a decent selection of candy and other foods like at the British Pantry in Redmond.
Bah. Bah I say.
