so when I was out today, I heard an interesting conversation between two women in their late thirties with the same common, "high-lighted" hair and their late in life children they produced because they wanted to feel fulfilled. (get a dog, people) They weren't too keen on watching their children who were small and running around near a road.

"oh have you heard about the strawberries?"
"the strawberries?"
"apparently every june strawberries are very in"
"really how exciting"
"yeah...the strawberries, right now they are all the rage"

yeah...let's think about that for awhile, if your head doesn't explode, you win a prize.

I have been SO waiting for strawberries to be back in again! I felt so silly eating strawberries in May when apparently it was not so chic to do so. I felt that all of my friends were secretly laughing behind my back, 'Look at Kelly, eating strawberries. That's SOOOO last June!' and I didn't get invited to all of the important parties and my imaginary kids were all ostercised from their imaginary sports and/or other activities. But at least I wasn't eating blueberries like some other people, that's so out.

maybe they were talking about gardening indoors?

probably not.

I have a friend who's 38 and trying to have another child. I don't agree, I think they should be happy with the one they have and shut up about it, but nooooo.

*sigh*
oh well.

my mom had her last kid at 37. She wasn't really trying. She didn't plan to spread the kids out like that.

my mom was 42 when she knocked me out - she was hoping I would get knocked over by a logging truck when I was playing near the road.

was she? woah.
Well my mother popped out the last one when she was 37. She then made sure she wasn't fertile after that. tsk..
If that woman had gone crazy I suspect she would have had seven.

I think women that are fertile are so sexy.

could you explain why?
Most males I have encountered think the opposite. I think the idea of a fertile woman is scary.

fertile woman - ready to accept seed, breeding etc. Come on, a barren woman is not sexy. It is like beating off.

well I would think a barren woman has some advantage, because she can't get pregnant.
a lot of guys I know are scared by that notion.
