Poor Senor Onion. Four shots today. Two in each leg. He was not pleased. He handled it better than he handled being forced to get naked in a room full of people and then have his weight taken. That is an experience no one wants to have.
The current check-up shows that he is still a skinny baby but he is gaining. He is in the 5th percentile for weight. (yeah that is one slender kid) The hilarious part is his head size is in the 75th percentile. I gave birth to a human lollipop. He is now about 27.5 inches long. Nearly 28. Healthy as a horse, very smart and loves long walks, rain and candlelit dinners. Or something.
He also spit up all over me. He had to show the doctor his many talents.
Now I don't have to do that for another couple of months. Thank goodness.
In retail therapy news I bought a purse. I have been needing a good day handbag for quite sometime. I found this:

Mine is in burgundy with green stitching. It is by Matt&Nat. I like a lot of their stuff. They are based in Montreal and interestingly enough their products are Vegan. So if you have issues with leather you can still look stylish and what not. This handbag gets extra awesome points because it was on sale. I have to kind of thank/blame
meowlet for the inspiration of finding a nice handbag. It isn't a mulberry but it will keep me satisfied. For now. I made some noises to Mr. Jenner about not needing a handbag now for a good long time. I did say that there would be an exception if I found, the one. I said a great handbag is like a relationship. Sometimes you have one for awhile but if you find the one that you have been waiting for your entire life you go for it. (hey let's go into accessories metaphors and similes for a moment) I like to think of Mr. Jenner as a Hermes Kelly handbag that I found brand-spanking new (complete with the dust-bag) at a garage sale for ten dollars.

Date: 2007-07-27 05:18 am (UTC)It is a matter of organizing ourselves. You know... making sure someone brought eccles cakes and enough sunblock.
I want to visit. I am in the mood for snark and sun. Snark will do though.

Date: 2007-07-27 04:27 pm (UTC)Senor Onion should note that he is a dearly beloved lollipop so he damn well better not blame the drugs on me.
