It was a night of long meandering peculiar dreams. None of which made any true sense.

I sit here debating the worth of going out tonight. I would like to, yet there is that yen to just lie on the sofa, watch more movies and not face any dificulties of socialization.

Tonight would be a lovely night to watch, Metropoliton, Barcelona, and Last Days of Disco. A Whit Stillman festival for myself. I could then eat a cadbury milktray and ignore everyone around me. "what? the cat was eaten...okay, here have some chocolate" "oh...wha? house on fire? well someone put it out I am watching this."

Whoever thought that socializing would ever become a duty....

Go out. Really. Don't make socializing become a duty. Have some fun with it. Approach social retards like me, and say "hi" and watch the fun as they twitch with akwardness, thereby relieving you of the ability to do the same! Not in a cruel way, mind you. Simply to decide you're not going to be the one experiencing difficulty. This sort of logic is why I'm never going to be a successful shrink, only to go to them successfully. I'd also suggest that if you choose the alternate, (the saturday night film festival) rent anything/everything John Waters or Troma, and get weirder simply by osmosis! Trash film does wonders for the psyche!

I have seen all the john waters movies again and again. I went through that phase in college. I appreciate their value.

id go with the sofa & movies plan myself, even though i'll probably end up going out and regretting it. there are moods to be social and moods to not be, but it can't really be forced, though i could be wrong, i usually am.

I made a decision. I am going to save up all of my socializing for next weekend. I really want to put a ton of effort into it.
I want to party from thursday through sunday, and make the most of it.
