christmas tree

Please note: plastic IKEA ball ornaments on the bottom third of the tree. Senor Onion likes to pull on them and can do so with joy. I will look for some other colors to mix it up a bit. I think I need some cloth ornaments as well that he can play with.

christmas tree

The Snow Queen,Father Christmas and garlands made from old Christmas wrap. Easy to do. Up in the far left-hand corner is a cornucopia I made using fancy paper, beaded trim and reproduction christmas scrap. Jealous Martha Stewart????

close christmas

This is what Christmas looks like after a few rounds of egg nog.

christmas boxes

Little boxes I made that have canceled stamps and postmarks.
So incredibly easy to do it is silly.

upper tree

Upper part of the tree.

The rings of paper are my favorite! We still have a couple that we made back when I was in elementary school. A lovely tree and some good pictures!

I had some old wrapping paper that wasn't quite up to snuff and this seemed the best use for it.

Very Cool!

Mm, I love your tree. What kind is it? Nice ornaments too. I love the boxes you made. Much cuter than Martha magazine's drum ornaments.

It is a noble fir. I am all about noble firs.
Why thank you. You could make those boxes. Super easy to do. Plus you can glue on all kinds of pretty pictures.

He had been taking a nap and woke up to us putting on the lights and wrestling the tree. He kept pointing and smiling. He likes to touch the tree and when I put on the plastic ball ornaments at the bottom he giggled. He pulls on them and bats them about like a kitten.
I think his mind is properly blown.
