It's freaking snowing.
It is Spring and it is snowing.

I think there is only one thing I can do.
Make hot chocolate and watch cozy period costume dramas with repressed English people.

There seems to be a great deal of sadness on my f-list as of late. A lot of it having to do with marriages/relationships ending. I wish I could offer some concrete words of solace. (the worst is a friend going through an incredibly nasty divorce and her spouse has become a true psycho) All I can say is I am sorry and it feels so weak. I wish I could make the hurt feelings go away with a slice of cake or something.
But I am so sorry that things have turned out as they have and that all people will find some peace and happiness again in the near future.

I am thinking of making blood orange marmalade this weekend. I think it will be awesome.

It stopped snowing. Though who knows we might get more tonight.
I would be curious to get your feelings on the books. They are sort of young adult books but I know plenty of adults who enjoyed the story. Kind of epic stuff.

it's been snowing here, too. very wet, though - slushy and wet.

there really has been so much sadness this year.
hopefully there will be some relief and sunshine for everyone in the near future.

We were! It was nice and sunny for the most part, but it got reeeally cold towards the end, sometime after 3pm. We didn't get to see everything, so I'd really like to go back during the summer.
