I need to go to Bed Bath and Bojangles. But will I go? Good question.
Yesterday we went to IKEA. It was.... IKEA. Things were purchased, others were not as they were disappointing or not to our liking. Which I think is the same thing.

I am definitely going to roast something for dinner. I may also bake a pie. Other than that I am debating whether to stuff my face full of chocolate or... not.

IKEA taunts me. I've only been to the real meatspace store once or twice, and it's always a conundrum of "oh, that's so cheap! And looked so good online!" but isn't, or items that you're not really looking for, but are really good, and really cheap end up in your hands.

But I go to BB&B more, and there I just want to kill all of the hired help. They do not obey proper retail demeanor as employees.

There can be some good things but you sort of have to have a really defined plan about what you are doing and getting.
Otherwise you come out with nothing and you are a little confused.

I always want Swedish meatballs when I go there.

I get really squirrely in BB&B. It is like a shop run by a manic pack rat. Some things make sense and other things just seem to be random crap they found. "Let's see towels, whisks, random CDs and chocolate."
Again. I need to go with a plan. Otherwise I get itchy and have to run out of there screaming.

Can we please stop living parallel lives? We went to Ikea yesterday, too.

Were you mildly disappointed?

No, they actually came through for us with a vanity and mirror for the new basement bathroom. I'm all about crossing stuff off the list so that was great.
Now we have to pick tile for the bathroom. It's just tough to make decisions together about stuff like this with NN working 26 hrs/day.... :-)

We came away with a bed for Senor Onion and some bed linens for his bed. I was hoping to find some kind of lighting fixture for his room that I would like. But I didn't. I also didn't find any curtains I liked. But that is a whole other LJ post waiting to happen.
