okay campers,
first up on the list:
- I have lost my address book somehow. so people (and you know who you are) email me your mailing addresses/phone numbers and then life will be merry once more.

-I have narrowed down the choice a bit regarding my jobs. I think I may be able to combine two of them. We shall see, I have two more job interviews this week. I am trying to make my life difficult.

-My mother announced to me tonight, "gen, I think it is time you got married. I think we need to do something about that."
well...okay then. Any takers? (no mormons or married men need apply) only serious offers.

If you really love me, and I know you do, these would be much appreciated gifts. *laughs*

yes please

and these

and these would make me happy too.

In my humble opinion (and having gone thru it already) let me just say that I thknk the whole "marriage" thing is rather over-rated...don't allow yourself to succumb to the pressure - fight the good fight and all that, eh? ;-)

oh, marriage isn't for everyone I realize that. But I am the kind of girl that gets married and will stay married.
It helps that I am not a psycho shrew and I won't marry some bastard who doesn't want to get married.
though I do thank you for your thoughts and opinions! She didn't say when I had to do it. mind you she was also being funny.

oh?...she wasn't being serious? Well, that totally takes the pressure off you. And, I wasn't always so negative towards marriage...when i got married, I was totally into it, as was the woman I married and (at the time) we honestly believed that we were going to be together, "until death we did part"...but, it just didn't work out that way - go figure; hence, the occassional bitterness/general negativity towards the topic, in general ;-)

true...for the record, I'm not nearly as bitter as I used to be - I've mellowed as time has gone by ;-)

Speaking of marriage and all that.....

My sister called yesterday and she wants to have a bridal/baby shower bbq thing. Just a little get together with some of my family and friends so you girls should come. It will be at my sister in West Seattle's house around 5ish on August 3rd.

2 more days till I'm back.....

What are you doing this weekend? Carrie and I were talking about doing something, if you aren't busy we should all hang out, the crew, you know what I'm sayin' G! Leslie, Gennie, Carrie, you, me, and whoever else! But the bridal/baby shower sounds good, count me in. I just need directions again cuz I don't remember which road she lives on.

My family is wiggity-whacked, I'm a recovering catholic myself, and I think marshmellows on on yams anytime are revolting.

I empathize, greatly.
I know I could go and get sex, but I don't want it with any of the people who offer it.

Well, you know what they say, "you can take the mormon out of the man, but you can't take the man out of the mormon."

I don't know what that means, or why they say it. It's probably supposed to imply something dirty, but in this case I don't think I want to know.

I remember seeing fantastic-looking shoes like those before. Some super-looking women just like you were doing some pretty acrobatic stuff wearing them!

Hmm . . . I could've sworn I saw you posting here: Image (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=mormon) (http://www.livejournal.com/users/mormon/)

*laughs wildly* somehow I doubt it. Since I am a Catholic. If I was going to be posting in strange religious places, I doubt I would hang with those funny boys in their cheap suits.
