I am going to the movies tonight. I ask people who like to talk during the film to stay home and rent, "Weekend at Bernies II" if not for my sake, then for your own.

slightly off subject: I shouldn't be allowed to watch romantic movies all I end up doing is crying and feeling pathetic.
I am going to watch the Dirty Dozen, I will feel better.

of course, with the new, modern age - not only do we have to deal with folks who talk during movies, we now have the 'pleasure' of those who either:

a)forget to turn their cellphones off before the movie

or

b)actually answer their phones and talk during the movie.

These people should be beaten into a deep coma with their phones, nursed back to health and then beaten again - just to ensure they get the message...

My friends and I went to the opening night of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It was a packed house, everyone was just going wild. Then in a quiet moment in the movie, someones cellphone went off and people began to scream, "SHUT THAT DAMN THING OFF" "YOU ASSHOLE" and they began to throw things in the person's direction. I bet that person never showed his face again.

When I went to see Shrek (yes, I saw Shrek and I enjoyed it, too) the phone of this woman behind me rang, but it was a really short ring.

I thought she had caught it quickly enough, as not to really disturb others so I was willing to let it go. Until I heard her voice and realized she was talking on the phone...I turned around and I have no idea what look I had on my face, because she saw me and before I had a chance to say anything, I heard her say "I'll call you back" and she hung up immediately...

sokay, I went and saw shrek (nice thing about having much younger siblings so you can go to kiddie movies) and I bought it on dvd. I am that cool.

a glare is always nice. I just take a sick delight in threatening lives.

that tom hanks film, Road to Perdition.
I think it is pretty fantabulous that it was based on a Graphic novel and I like the work of Sam Mendes and the cinematographer.
