Under the heading of things that make your heart swell three times their normal size I give you this:
Senor Onion and I were at Fred Meyer this morning. (local grocery chain, and also a bit like Target since they seem to sell everything in the world) And we were near the baby-clothes section and Senor Onion asked to go and look at the baby clothes. Fine and lovely. He then proceeded to pick out an outfit and declare it was for "baby sister". Yes. This little short-cake is so adorable that he picked out a rather appropriate little sleep'n'play footed pajama outfit as a present for his sister. I about died of the cute. It has bunnies, giraffes and cats driving little cars and it has pink trim. So we bought it. First thing bought specifically for Baby Biscuit. Your ovaries (if you have them) may cause you to spontenously ovulate by that gesture.

Some days he can be a real challenge but then he wins me over with his insanely sweet behavior.
I think tonight I will make some sort of seafood chowder. Something with clams and smoked salmon. And bacon. Not that bacon is a seafood, but it is good.
Daffodils are blooming and yet it is damp and cold and windy and rainy. Ah Spring... but the loads of daffodils in the neighborhood do help. I have some, but I obviously need more so I can compete with my next door neighbor who has so many it really brightens my day to walk past them. There will be more bulbs purchased and things planted in the Fall. Yes Mother, I know that way lies madness...
