To clarify regarding the last post. I had a nice time at the concert despite the people behind me. I enjoyed the music and I got to go out with Mr. Jenner like a grown-up. (plus one doesn't always get the opportunity to reference Zapruder and the work of Natalie Wood in the same post.)
Today it is effin' Mother's Day. I think I may go out in search of a donut or something, before I come back to the trenches. I got a chillun to watch and dinner to make.

Here is Senor Onion being adorable yesterday in the garden. He helped me to weed and water.

Either that or uncurably cynical.

Date: 2009-05-10 04:29 pm (UTC)By the way, speaking of cutting I wondered about that Beyonce line. She seems such a nice girl I can't imagine her cutting any bitches. She'd likelier shake her impressive heinie at them.

Date: 2009-05-10 04:33 pm (UTC)So the story is Beyonce is kind of notorious for making it known that should you come near her man, she will cut a fool. The joke is that she made the movie Obsessed as a kind of message to all women.

Date: 2009-05-12 04:52 am (UTC)There wasn't a definite, "yes, we are more than ready to have children, we feel absolutely confident about what we will do and the situation is super ideal."
It was just more of a case of some baby-fever, a slightly casual attitude toward birth control and so on. "hey babies would be kind of neat." We knew we wanted to have children. It just sort of happened sooner than we had anticipated. Same thing with the second one.
I suppose it is a case of, "not much going on now... I am obviously getting too much sleep."

Date: 2009-05-17 03:57 pm (UTC)I also like amalah's general thought on the whole thing. From the baby fever to the practical stuff.
I am not inclined to tell people, "OMG GO OUT AND HAVE A BABY" just because it is such a significant under-taking and who knows what is going on people's lives and whatever. But I will say, if it is something you want to take on, it is incredibly humbling, hilarious and entertaining. And boy does it take your emotions all over the place.
