moving along

I feel the urge to go on a canning bender this weekend. I definitely want to make raspberry jam and I want to possibly make another kind of jam. I want to see what fruit looks the most appealing and see how many jars I have available.
Tonight I made a potato mash using potatoes from the garden. Excellent flavor. (helps to add things like butter and chevre) I was awfully pleased.
I have also harvested garlic. The garden is beginning to do its thing. I cleaned the garlic and have begun the curing process. I will have more to harvest soon. (I might hand out heads of garlic to people. "here have some. It is good for you.") I need to look at the onions as well.

I finished that Garrison Keillor book last night. The ending is fantastic. Just what I wanted.

Tomorrow I will bake brownies. Senor Onion pointed out we were about to run out. He keeps a close eye on the brownie rations in this house.

I felt better today -despite the fact that most of my clothes are uncomfortable. I was able to accomplish a few things and not feel absolutely wrecked. And Senor Onion napped. He just needed extra cuddles before going to sleep. I understand that.

How long to go now? And how will you know when you are 'nesting', since most things that you enjoy are a form of nesting already?!

I am around 33 weeks. So... 7-9 weeks give or take. It depends upon how kind this child is feeling.

Hrm. Nesting. Well I want to actually get at the dust that lingers in the house. I also really hate my fridge and want a new one. But I somehow guess that it might be a bit much to go for that.
