Yeah we aren't matchy match folk. But hey, BLUE! (no artwork over the bed since we live in an earthquake zone. I suppose this is how wall decal people make all their money.)


The carpet and the woodwork is tres seventies but hey it kind of works well with the wall color. Lord I hate that bureau. (I will look for something a little less... particle board chic when we move)

Maybe you need some kind of quilted artwork to hang above the bed - that way, if there's an earthquake, you have extra padding!

I hung a really lightweight canvas frame with fabric above the bed, and secured it with a couple different methods.
