Through the magic of being me... I have messed up my back and hips. I went to help Mr. Jenner move his desk. Something I know how to do. Yet somehow I did something horribly wrong and have spent much of the day in bed. I've taken a lot of tylenol.
I feel all kinds of stupid. Mr. Jenner says my job is to get better as quickly as possible and all I feel is pressure to somehow get better.
Look at me!!! FAILING THE FAMILY BECAUSE I DID SOMETHING DUMB! Wahoo.

Me and tylenol. We are BFF.

Valium is your friend. It relaxes the muscles so they unspasm and recover, and also you stop caring about all the pressure and relax.

That would be fun but I don't get that luxury.

it's amazing how family life categorically removes the ability to become lame for any reason or amount of time. i had time to ponder this yesterday when brian was late coming home from work with his dead-batteried cell phone, leaving me to imagine him in a horrific traffic accident.

Yeah. That is funny how that works. Someone should warn people. "Yeah no more days off. EVER"

And then a few years down the line you become incapable of not doing stuff even when you do get an hour or two off. As in, "Great, all the kids are unexpectedly having a nap. Now I can bleed the radiators and adjust the kitchen cabinet doors so they are not skewed. What fun!"

Welcome to middle age. =P

Ice packs and Ibuprofen helps me keep the swelling down. Alternate that with heat packs or hot baths, and you should feel better.

Also, burger breathing sounds delicious. =P

But I am not close to middle-age. haha
Yeah. The hot baths have done a lot.

Burger breathing is the new sport.
