I want your potatoes. In my family, someone always cuts up the turkey before it gets to the table. Is that weird?

Mr Jenner cooks them in duck fat.
I can understand cutting up the turkey before hand. It is sometimes a matter of space and also people can get to the bird faster. Like at my inlaws when we sit down to Christmas dinner, there is somewhere in the neighborhood of twenty-plus people. (I think last year we had 25) So you want to make sure the meat is ready to hand out.

Thank you do much for posting! It all looks beautiful! I have woken up thinking of the dinner we are cooking tonight - I just wish I didn't have to work today first!

Next year I am bringing this show on the road. I am kind of tempted to invite everyone in England to my version of Thanksgiving.

If ours goes well, I might be tempted to ask you here the day after to our own version! I am really quite excited. I think :-)

We have plenty of leftovers. For today I do not cook. I just put out food.

I was telling OldBloke I didn't fancy curry tonight. I'll just pop over for leftovers.

Gorgeous pictures. God bless your hands, as Momo used to day whenever we made anything. I can't get over Miss Biscuit. She's gotten as grown up!

As Momo used to say, not day. And I'm on my laptop so I can't blame that on auto-correct. Oops!

no deviled eggs!
Oh hey we were at the museum of flight today and I noticed that there were a number of hand sanitizer stations. (in particular there was one in the children's play area) Which might make you feel a little more at home.

I love those hand sani stations. I wish our local Everett kids' museum would get them, but moreso, I wish people would USE them. Whenever I provide people with hand sani (at birthday parties and whatnot), no on uses them, even before they eat. Boo!

Offer them door prizes for every time they use it. "OMG you have used it four times, just once more and you are eligible for a prize...MORE HAND SANI"
