Lo, we have a sofa. Mr. Jenner remarked, "it now looks less like a play-room with an old sofa and more like a living room." Yes well... that's because things are tidied at the moment. Please note the chaise element for Mr. Jenner. Oh the slouching that will be done.

That's quite an interesting tv stand. At first I thought it was a computer. (I just want to let you know that as I typed that it came out in my head in a British accent. Weird.)

My inlaws gave it to us, so that we wouldn't have to go out and buy a tv. I think if we stay beyond the trial year we will find something less...wasteful of space. (it drives me freaking batty)

I found the rug through an eBay seller. They had all sizes. We decided we wanted to go for something with a bit of a sense of humour and loudness.

I think we have about one month until the shipment arrives. THEN the walls will be filled. But we will buy a picture from my brother in law at the end of the month -it will hang over the fireplace. What we refer to as "the Spanish" painting will hang above the sofa. (not so much direct light and so it will be protected.
