I have a yen to build an ark.
Back to civilization, and it is even wetter here then it was there. (port townsend)
My sister is pimping girl scout cookies, anyone want to buy some from a perky 13 year old who likes to cut open animals and dissect them, all while professing a deep love for the colour pink and Steve McQueen movies.
Yes I created a monster.
Today is my day off, and I am doing a whole lotta laundry, cleaning the apartment and generally helping the flat recover from several British people living there.

My mother and I were driving in the never-stopping rain yesterday when it was announced upon NPR that the girl from Utah (Elizabeth Smart) had been found alive. It left my mother in awe. She said that it is one of those dreams come true for parents in such nightmare situations.
It sound macabre to say this, but we had generally assumed that she was probably raped and murdered and left in the desert. Sad state of affairs, but...it is comforting to see things turn out differently.
Imagine the sensation/feeling her parents felt when they received the news that she was okay....

the second full season of blackbooks arrived on dvd. All the way from Australia! It took several years to finally arrived. Damn it was great!!!!!

They freeze well, so you can put the excess boxes in the freezer. That way you can enjoy a box, not feel too guilty and then though out the year you can have a box now and then.
My sister is stopping by in seattle to drop off boxes. I am buying a few from her, because I am her sister and she has dirt on me.
evil evil little girl.
and they are three dollars a box. A bit steep, but those thinmints are crack-cocaine.
