food notes
Mar. 2nd, 2007 10:43 amLast night I made croque monsieur and butternut squash soup for dinner. It was so damn good. But then cheese, more cheese and then some cheese and ham on toast is always going to be a pleasant culinary experience.
Today (when I am not having someone spit-up on my last clean shirt) I will probably bake a cake. I am feeling the beginnings of another cooking bender. It is time to break out a few books and see what I can make this weekend. I think I may also go through and get rid of a few back issues of Gourmet in attempt to make some room. It will involve cutting out a few pretty pictures and recipes, pasting them into my book of things that I paste things into and then getting a few new ideas.
