Then we went to a paper/craft shop and looked at paper, ribbon and trim. I came away with some things I may use for next Christmas. I also noted some things for another project or two I am beginning.
Then it was time for more chocolate. We stopped at Fran's. We had a sample of their truffles. I bought some chocolate because good lord what if the revolution came and one couldn't get chocolate so easily?
Then it was back to my house for tea and cake; also Rebecca had not had the pleasure of meeting Senor Onion yet. He of course wooed her with his ability to smile and drool all at once. Cake and babies. That is what I have to offer guests.
Today it is grey and rainy. For it is January. More grey. More rain. Then some more grey. Because it goes well with the rain.
Do you sense a theme here?
I should cook something. Maybe a chicken pie.
