Feb. 6th, 2008 11:48 amI am taking "generic" Soma. I have been reading all about the side-effects and how it turns giraffes blue or something.
Anyways. It made me a little spacey for an hour or so last night and then it left me aware enough that I could make pancakes for dessert.
It is one of the few things I can take that won't have a profound effect upon Senor Onion when I nurse him. Though it can make him a little drowsy but I have managed to time things so he isn't really exposed to it.
Yesterday I roasted a chicken with a bit of lemon and tarragon in the cavity and I brushed the skin with olive oil and sprinkled a bit of salt on top. I also made couscous with finely chopped red bell pepper, parsley and paprika and then a spinach salad with dried fruit and chevre. Healthy and everything.
Not a clue as to what I am putting together tonight. It's Ash Wednesday so ideally I should make something sans meat. You know in the early days of the Church, eating beaver (no jokes please) wasn't considered eating meat? I know I know... The Church is weird. But I think that has been long hashed out so we don't need to go into any discussion about that. Do we understand poppets?
I have more to say but I am a little distracted.
