Today I made a meyer lemon/citrus sorbet. (it was mostly meyer lemon, but I threw in some lime juice and orange juice to fill it out a bit)
We went out to dinner at St. Clouds. The food wasn't bad. Not super mind-blowing amazing but still pretty good. I will relate more on the food in another post.

And now I am being a sloth for I am good at that.

We took our guest to the market. I bought my weight in spices and then encouraged our guest to do the same. For I enable like nobody's business. I also bought fruit and vegetables, eggs and fancy butter. I realized after I got home I forgot to buy saffron. I will do that tomorrow so I can make bread. Sure I forgot saffron but I bought meyer lemons because they were on sale.

I made a cake yesterday too. It is a yogurt gateau with a lemon curd filling. It is very simple but it has a lot of flavor and has proved to be a favorite among everyone. I served it at lunch today. I think tomorrow we will go to the international district, do a bit more eating and maybe go to Elliot Bay Books and fondle things. I think I may also cook some artichokes and make aioli.
