Today we took our guest (an old friend of Mr. Jenner's) to have dim sum. Her husband isn't terribly fond of dim sum so I thought this ought to be her big chance to indulge. I also encouraged her to have plenty of seafood as well. (it is expensive and not very good where she lives and again her husband isn't fond of the stuff) We also went to Elliot Bay Books. I had lent our guest a book during the weekend and she liked it so much she wanted to find her own copy. Voila there was one in the used/rare section.
I chased Senor Onion around the children's section, where he proceeded to pull out every.single.copy. of Go Dog Go (in Board book and regular hard-back edition) and carry them about. I picked up a copy of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day with a few people have told me I ought to read. I also need something to read while I wait for an order of books to arrive in the post. (I figure it is cheaper than an opium habit)

Now it is time to lie in the bath with a book.
