change

After what is approaching two weeks of Senor Onion having constant waking in the night and always trying to sleep in our bed; Senor Onion slept in his own bed until 5 am. This may not seem like much to some, but it is a lot to me. I had more than two hours of uninterrupted sleep. So it was a pleasure to have him come in and cuddle with me for an hour before getting up with him. Even him demanding "HUG" was cute. He will grab your arm and wrap it around him. This is when I call him Cuddlebug.
I am not counting on him sleeping perfectly again tonight but at least I had last night. six hours of no one bothering me. I feel faintly...awake.
Now to go and do some grocery shopping.

What I have been up to.

Chores and errands were done today. I went to the market and stocked up on various things, did some dishes, vacuumed the carpets and baked and cooked and cooked and baked. Things are slightly tidier. Though I should fold and put away the laundry. But that is often the state of things.
I made maple syrup cream pie.
It was excellent. Not too sweet, nice custardy texture and great to have in the Autumn. Or whenever.

The savory cheesecake turned out well, though I think I will adjust the recipe because the flavor isn't quite right. But vegetarians will dig it in the end. I hope.

Now I am in my flannel pajamas, getting toasty by the fire.
