tappity tap
Mar. 7th, 2009 08:46 amIt is supposed to snow this weekend. I hope not. I pray not. I bought a rosemary plant and a peppermint plant. I might eventually put the peppermint plant near one side of the house by this fir tree and let it go crazy. (because mint likes to do that) I am not sure where I will put the rosemary plant as the semi-dead one is in the big herb bed but the snow and the general dampness might have killed it off. I am still battling to improve the soil there. Maybe the front garden I can expand. Or maybe I will just create a raised bed just for growing large quantities of rosemary. Weee. I know how to rock the excitement.
I made a really tasty tapenade last night for dinner. It had tuna and artichoke hearts. It proved to be popular. I also made bruschetta and roasted bell peppers. Then we had pesto and pasta. the pasta was all right. I think I like the stall's porcini pasta more than their tortellini. For dessert, people ate the last of the apple pie and I had the blood orange sorbet. Now to bake something for dessert to hold us for the week. And to make marmalade too. Time to wash jars in earnest.
