Sunday freaking morning.

To clarify regarding the last post. I had a nice time at the concert despite the people behind me. I enjoyed the music and I got to go out with Mr. Jenner like a grown-up. (plus one doesn't always get the opportunity to reference Zapruder and the work of Natalie Wood in the same post.)

Today it is effin' Mother's Day. I think I may go out in search of a donut or something, before I come back to the trenches. I got a chillun to watch and dinner to make.


Here is Senor Onion being adorable yesterday in the garden. He helped me to weed and water.

It is pretty good so far despite the tantrum.

I ordered these shoes. They will go nicely with a dress I will wear for a wedding in July. Plus OMG new shoes.
I admit I also covet these shoes and these. Covet covet covet.

Happy Mother's Day to those who do a bit of Mothering in one sense or another. May your day be free of Knights of Columbus pancake breakfasts and irritating overprices brunches. May you have ten minutes to have an uninterrupted thought and maybe time in the bathroom without someone knocking on the door needing something. And hopefully there will also be adorable cards that make you wonder if your child has a talent for neo-cubism or awesome collage.

All right then, I am going to go out and look at books and possibly make up. Plus maybe I will have a donut.
