let's start small
Jun. 10th, 2010 09:23 pm1) How old are you? I am thirty. Thanks for asking.
2) What is your favorite color? Pink or red. Something that says "look I am alive"
3) What state do you live in? bewilderment with a touch of bliss.
4) If you had to choose between giving up your cell phone and giving up chocolate what would you choose to live without? cell phone. No one really needs to get a hold of me but that bar of chocolate and I are for life.
5) Do you have a pet? A rather geriatric rabbit named Greg. I remember when he was born.
6) Paper or plastic? Come on, I am a yuppie. I have bags that I can re-use. Look at me and my smug bags.
7) What is your favorite fruit/vegetable? raspberries and artichokes.
8) What is your favorite characteristic in the opposite sex? confidence, a sense of humor and a complete lack of guile.
9) What is your favorite physical trait in the opposite sex? a good pair of hands.
10) List three of your best qualities. I am sympathetic, loyal and kind.
11) List three of your worst traits. I tend to keep my distance with most people, I procrastinate and I am just a bit vicious.
12) What is your favorite TV show? I am rather fond of Community these days.
13) If you were stranded on an island for a week what would you want to take with you? Some good books, some sunscreen and some food.
14) Do you have a favorite board game? Candyland. It is so pretty.
15) Do you smoke or drink? I don't smoke. I sort of have lost the taste for most alcohol but I don't mind a glass of wine or a pretty cocktail now and then.
16) What kind of perfume do you wear? It changes. Sometimes something from Jo Malone, sometimes Chanel no. 5 and whatever else seems appealing. I do like some stuff by Marc Jacobs and I do like Joy.
17) What is your favorite book? I have so many. I think I Capture the Castle means the most to me because I read it at the right time in my life. I read it at least once a year because it is good to visit old friends. It is a book I can always "read into" as Jasper Fforde would say. I know what every blade of grass would look like and what the sunlight is like on a bright Spring day.
18) What are you most afraid of? The list is endless so I would rather not think about it.
19) What is your best physical feature? People tend to say nice things about my eyes so I guess that would be it.
20) If you could go anywhere right now and stay for a month where would you go? I wouldn't mind going to Italy again. But I would like to see Australia or Zanzibar.
21) What are your hobbies? I make dinner. Is that a hobby? I garden, watch the world go by and sometimes I make things out of paper.
22) What accessories do you wear at all times? my wedding ring and usually some pair of earrings.
23) Do you pronounce the 't' in often? No. I think I would sound rather silly if I did that.
24) What is the last song that played on your iPod? Something by Django Rheinhart and Stéphane Grappelli
25) Share something that made you happy today. I hung out with my Mother and my siblings. I really like the fact that my kids really enjoy seeing their Grandma and their Auntie and Uncle.
