It was warm out today. The internet was also down for much of the afternoon. This meant that Mr. Jenner couldn't really work. The children were cranky and so I suggested we go for a short walk and see this path I had told Mr. Jenner about. Some neighbors and the near-by school had taken this abandoned overgrown alley way and turned it into a little walk-way/bird sanctuary. Anyone can walk through it. It is down-right delightful and like a secret garden of some sorts. There were all kinds of beautiful and interesting plants and there were birds everywhere. I spotted at least five hummingbirds. You can see into many people's back gardens. (which are often really nice) Some people had several hives of bees so there was this light buzzing noise. Another neighbor had raspberries that were against the border so one could pick a few here and there.

Here is the entrance. It has a little sign explaining what they did and how they did it.
Mr. Jenner thought it was pretty neat. Senor Onion loves racing through the path and he was pretty pleased when he found a stick. Always a good day when you can find a stick to poke things.
