I got stuff done today. I woke up kind of bent on doing stuff. I was feeling disorganized because there is stuff that needs to be done before we leave next week. I find myself faffing about going, "argh what do I do" I sat down and made lists. I feel better when I make lists. Mr. Jenner said, "if you need something done, let me know." I appreciate it when he does that. I forget on occasion that I don't need to do everything. I can delegate. It is one of the perks of being married to Mr. Jenner.
The kids were really good too when we were running errands. As a reward we had a look in the toy shop. "yep. Toys." Then the real treat came when we stopped in Aveda so I could pick up some shampoo. One of the employees had brought their pug in for the day and the pug was so friendly. The kids went bananas for the dog. Both of them kept squealing with delight and petting the dog. The dog kept licking them and reveling in the attention. The employees thought the kids were cute and I thought the dog was cute. Thank you pug for making a shopping trip so much fun. When we left Senor Onion asked, "Can we get a pug?" They have fallen for pugs after spending Thanksgiving playing with a friend's pug. They seem to be able to spot pugs anywhere so we end up petting every single pug in the western hemisphere. You have one? We have likely met it. I told Senor Onion that it might be fun to pet a dog but maybe we should wait until he is a bit older as dogs require a lot of attention. I think for now he is pleased to pet a dog and go about his day. I am waiting for the day that Miss Biscuit smuggles a dog or three home.
Much laundry was done. Yet more will be accomplished.
Now I am mashing potatoes to make lefse. Scandis represent! (I need that as a tattoo)
