I have been trying to work on my second cup of tea all day long. I eventually got there in the end. (had to re-heat it in the microwave a couple of times.) Both the kids are rather "fragile" this morning from their thrown sleep schedule. My body clock is so confused. It wouldn't be surprised if I was in Australia. (which I am not)
( Hanging out in Iceland )( A case for traveling to Iceland when you have kids and where you can stay )( Another awesome thing )The flight home was fairly uneventful. Eventually the kids and Mr. Jenner slept. I watched
The Black Swan. I kept thinking, "and this was nominated?" It wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't a great movie. Natalie Portman plays a girl who needs to get on some medication and to move out of her Mom's weird apartment. The dancing was fun to watch though. I think Portman's performance in
Beautiful Girls was much stronger than this. But hey, playing crazy is always a good career move. Crazy or dealing with nazis.
The flight came in a few minutes early, and getting through customs/immigration was crazy quick. Even getting our luggage was a simple affair. We took the lightrail and bus home and were soon fast asleep.
Of course I was up by 2am with the kids. Woooooo Jetlag is awesome. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The lawn is overgrown, this one bush is turning our entryway into a jungle and all the tulips are gone for the year.
It was a damn good holiday. We keep getting better at this traveling with short people business. Who knows where we will end up next.
And that was your vicarious vacation wedding/europe edition. Go forth and travel like woah.
