Senor Onion has learned yet another version of "Jingle Bells Batman Smells" at school. He had to share it with me. The lyric of note was, "Mississippi lost his willie on the motorway." I giggled. I am sure some sort of parenting book would say the correct response is to act indifferent but I don't work that way. Senor Onion and I laughed a whole bunch and I asked him where he got that one. It seems that one of the boys was singing it in the coat room. Coat rooms are where all the excitement happens.

Miss Biscuit is under the weather. She was feverish last night but I thought it might be because she had too many covers. She was fine at first but then spent much of the day lying on the sofa. Her fever spiked again, I gave her some medicine and she fell asleep. I hope she will just sleep off whatever it is and feel better tomorrow. Chicken pox is going around school but I made sure the kids had their shots before we came to England. (chicken pox vaccines aren't really done here, and I would rather spare the kids the bother of having a bout of it. There is nothing noble or character building about chicken pox.)

I am trying to convince myself that I am not feeling slightly blech. Maybe I will just dose myself with something, take a hot bath, and go to bed.

I am sort of in a state of being where I have much I want to say, but I am not sure where to begin. So instead I distract myself with the domestic stuff. It isn't a sense of being underwhelmed but trying to find my attention span.
