passing it on
Mar. 8th, 2013 07:56 amThere are some here who will remember my famous pink handbag that appeared in a lot of photographs a number of years ago. It followed me through a few European countries and there I would be in front of famous landmarks avec awesome pink handbag. Eventually it sort of wore out and I replaced it with other handbags over the years. BUT I have never gotten rid of the handbag. It was really great. Truly. Perfect size, a simple but pleasing design, and cute as anything. This morning Miss Biscuit was asking for a handbag (she has a couple of perfectly nice ones -including one made by her Grandma) and I remembered how I still had the famous pink handbag. I dug it out and handed it to her. She had a toy with her and she said, "I CAN PUT THINGS IN HERE!" She went to work putting things in the handbag. Senor Onion said he needed a handbag as well. So I brought out my recently retired bee handbag and he is pretty happy putting stuff in there.
Not even 8am and I am already making children happy.
I still would kill for another copy of that pink handbag. I doubt it is even available on eBay.
