getting a dose of culture

There was a benefit to staying JUST outside the city center of York. Right by our hotel, was a park & ride with a bus that ran every ten minutes into town. It took like fifteen minutes to get to our final stop and that worked out well because you could see things along the way, which the kids found to be fun. It was cheaper/quicker than attempting to drive and park in a city that was built over a 1,000 years ago.
