lighter now
Mar. 10th, 2015 10:40 pmOscar has his favorite chair.
He also has his favorite places to nap during the day. This is a cat who knows where he lives.
Tonight Mr. Jenner was reading to Miss Biscuit on our bed. The cat came in wanting to try and scratch on the end of the bed, and he was told not to. So instead he climbed upon the bed, settled down and listened to the story. He was pretty happy there. After the kids go to bed, he comes downstairs to sit in my red chair. He will snooze in different positions, and just look around. He was laying there for awhile looking a trifle anxious. I asked what he was doing, and Mr. Jenner made me laugh when he said, "He's thinking about the socio-economic issues in 'Meet Samantha'."
I found the set of the Samantha "American girl" books on eBay for a good deal, as Miss Biscuit has read the heck out of the "Meet Molly" books. I had forgotten that the first book really gets into things like economic privilege, and touches on the kyriarchy. Miss Biscuit seems to enjoy reading the books. Though we do have to answer a lot of questions about history, politics, and culture.
