Well...interesting moments.
A girl I went to high school with, is now on broadway. In school she was the pet of the drama teacher and it paid off...Though I sorta laughed when reading a review of some show she was in, she was described as 'overplaying' the role.

Not much has changed.

It is nice to see someone from my high school do something interesting besides become another 8 year student at Western.

Of course it isn't like I have done anything interesting other then have a couple of nervous breakdowns and do a lot of drinking.
I like to think of my youth as fodder for great novels in the future.

Jane Austen meets the macabre short stories of Dorothy Parker.

Charlie's on Broadway has the best Eggs Benedict. Plus while you eat you can look at dragqueens.

Charlies? Where's it at on Broadway?

I usually get my fill at Minnies.

But first up is another British product: BBC America's "Tipping the Velvet," based on an English bestseller about lesbianism in Victorian England, which will air here starting May 23. Adapted by Andrew Davies ("Pride & Prejudice," "Daniel Deronda") from author Sarah Waters' Booker Prize-nominated novel, it was a critical success when it aired late last year on the BBC.
