Hey, we have a copy of windows xp for mac or something like that...*will have to ask the boyfriend* anyone need a copy?
Did I mention last week I went to a Dar Williams concert?
I know, a few are surprised that I would go...but hey, I like to keep an open mind. My boyfriend seems to like them, and we went with a few friends. I do like her, she seems like a nice lady, but we play her feckin' cd in the store everyday (we did until recently that is...we finally had enough)
So...going to her concert was like..being at work. With about the same number of lesbians. Lordy, I swear every single one of them was out and all the flavors too. Butch, femme, lipstick lesbians, gold-earring crowd, sorority lesbians (the ones who are only lesbian in college) dykes on bikes...plus a few darling gay men gaying up the abercrombie and fitch look.
The opening band was okay, it was the ben taylor band. The guy had on a white wife-beater and sweats (casual guy) and he makes me think of a sort of guy who eats vegan muffins, talks about how important it is to maintain good karma, yet he will do something like sleep with your little sister/roommate/good friend (you know...the guys who hang out in drum circles a little too much)
I do give him this, he has a rather nice stomach. Many members of the audience were yelling at him to take his shirt off (thank goodness for those folks) and yes, it was a sight to behold.
Up close with his shirt on..he is still the vegan-muffin-eating, good-karma-talkin'-drumcircle-slutbunny.
But hey, I am not asking for depth when looking at his stomach.
So um...yeah, Dar Williams, not entirely my cup of tea, but she seems alright.
Though I will say this, white guys, rockin' out like they are total bad-asses...no..no...no. You know who you are, you ain't got soul, so stop trying, you are embarrassing.
It is like watching an albatross land
