There was a New Yorker cartoon recently that had two men in a bar talking to one another the caption was, "Is Cameron Diaz really attractive, or is it a myth perpetuated by the media"

I had a good giggle over that.

Really, I don't think she is that pretty. She has a certain spunk (though that may be the speed) But I have seen much more attractive people on the metro bus.

I do not think Reese is pretty. No how. She truly looks like Gizmo the Mogwai.

And I think Cameron is even worse.

I have seen her on a few different talkshows and all I could think was, "hrm...Farrah Fawcett here we come" but less of the ability to act.

I don't even see the cuteness factor.

It cracks me up how it is the simplest of things that can make someone mushy.
Girls are the same way. The person could have the personality of a lightbulb and a girl will go ga-ga over them.

well, i usually get the appeal. i just think it's foolish.

Kevin Costner would go in that column. and blank faces like Freddie Prinze Jr.

perhaps the only one that's a total puzzle is Ben Affleck. i mean, huh?

otoh, the Brad Pitt thing makes total sense to me.

oh, I may be ill. I have never thought Kevin Costner nor Freddie Prinze Jr. were attractive. One is so beige he should be part of the carpet. The other has about as much personality as a Ken Doll (and I don't mean hair styling Ken)

Ben Affleck, his old appeal was his asshole-like behavior.
Now..nothing.

Brad Pitt I couldn't get into at all. But I did like him with long hair.

But my taste is pretty darn kooky at times.
I get weak in the knees thinking about Alan Rickman.

My opinion: she's attractive, but not beautiful (Julia Roberts is Beautiful). Her attractiveness comes mainly from the shape of her mouth. Ooogh that sounds very analytical/clinical.

Anyway, what's your beef with her?

I just don't think she is attractive, so I just don't get what people find appealing about her.

There are a zillion celebrities...that I find incredibly attractive and I don't quite understand her appeal...actually I take it back.
I understand why guys like her. She isn't too cute and she doesn't seem to threatening.
