I agree ... I had a pair of Italian handmade shoes that were expensive but lasted for years: about three times as long as a pair of my shoes normally lasts. Since I paid about twice as much for them, they were a good buy.
The sandals are, indeed, saucy. I realize I'm going to sound all swishy saying that, but you know me - I look for photogenic feet and clothing and all. And those are are in the polite and tasteful "FM" shoe department.
