I broke down today and bought the new dvd of Casablanca. I had to. It had all the goodies and more. It freaking had the Bugs Bunny cartoon "Carrotblanca". It is a purchase I won't regret...ever.

Tonight on the ever so crowded bus I was sitting between two people who kept falling asleep. Each took turns dropping onto my shoulder. It was a bit odd. I had to nudge people several times to point out I was not their Mum.

I am going to make Andrew a souffle tonight. I like to wow him with my culinary prowess.

For some reason this reminds me of when I was about 16 and went to visit my cousin Sara, also 16, in Sequim. I stayed there a week and we had to share a bed, and about 74 times a night, I had to nudge her awake to inform her that I was not her boyfriend Mark. Sara, in her sleep, was getting very frisky with me.

Not half as bad as when I was little and had to share a bed with my sister on our Devon holidays ... she kicked me black and blue all through the nights. Worse, she'd talk in her sleep, right next to my earhole. The last straw was when she wet the bed: I think at that point my folks took pity on me and let me sleep in the dog's basket downstairs.

Casablanca is one of my favoite movies. I'm going to have to break down and buy it soon myself.

Bus rides can be an adveture that's for sure. Chock this one up to that.
