I am looking for a good place to acquire a decent manicure. Something that isn't too expensive and not terribly painful.
To my dear female friends in seattle, I ask for your suggestions?

There's a place in Wallingford that's around 20.00 for a manicure and 30 for a pedicure. From what I hear, they're really good. I'll find the name out if you'd like.

I've only gotten one manicure in my life. It was from a Joico student. She cut my cuticle. I bled. The end.

They recommend that you bring your own tools, but I'm sure not very many people have a professional manicure set sitting around. Just insist that they sterilize the tools (ask if they use an autoclave) and don't go to an academy to have a student work on you. :)

InSpa in U. Village or this other place I can't remember the name of, also in U. Village. SeaTop Nail? Something like that.

I heard InSpa was good, but some of the desk girls are big evil bitches, so that scares me.

Maybe the Gene Juarez beauty school? I dunno. But I want to get one too! I just got a new nail polish and I want someone decent to put it on me.

Tell me if you find someone good!

Also maybe someplace north like near Northgate, might have a cheap nail salon.

maybe I will break down and go into west seattle.
It is a bit out of the way. But if they do good work, then it is well worth the effort.

Inspa in bellevue square...ask for Gina. She's awesome and gives fantastic manis and pedis.
Or Gene Juarez [annie]. Too pricey but heavenly.:)
